John has mentored thousands of current and aspiring VCs through his VC Careers blog and email list, which counts VCs from top firms like Sequoia, KPCB, and Bessemer as subscribers.

He serves as an advisor to Quantopian (Spark, A16z, Bessemer), Wallaroo Labs (Greycroft, Eniac, RRE, Boldstart, Resolute), and also advised Concord (Bloomberg Beta) prior to their acquisition by Akamai.

John was the founding member of the sales & marketing team at Turbonomic (Bain Capital Ventures, Highland Capital Partners), has worked in product management and services leadership roles at growth-stage startups like DigitalOcean and VMware, and raised seed capital from professional angels and VC firms for his own startup.

Arno is a serial entrepreneur that has built profitable companies.

He has worked at Chicago-based VC fund Origin Ventures, where he focused on Saas, Ecommerce and  Marketplaces. He also worked at the family fund Bluestein Associates.

Arno holds an MBA from Chicago Booth, as well as  two bachelor degrees in Economics and Accounting. He also received a Masters degree in Marketing from Uppsala University in Sweden.

In his free time, Arno loves walking and running in forests.

Namit brings over 15 years of experience in operating and investing roles, having led more than 20 global investments across diverse sectors. Throughout his career, he was affiliated with several internet & technology companies. Namit holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science.

Dan is an experienced Venture Capital advisor & educator, previously working to support early-stage startups in their capital raises and connections. After graduating with his BBA from Northeastern University in Boston, he joined one of North America's largest startup incubators. He eventually grew to manage the incubator's Houston Investor Program, helping their member startups raise capital from Venture Capitalists by facilitating connections and consulting on their fundraising strategies.

Dan was born in Long Island, New York, and currently resides in Houston, Texas. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors either hiking with his dog or fishing.

Asad is a serial marketer with a passion for delivering value through innovative strategies. He began his career by founding a marketing agency that worked with consumer brands before transitioning to the B2B SaaS space, helping scale companies like Brevo and Boast AI.

Currently, he works at Seekr Technologies, an AI company building large language models for enterprises, where he leads the development of their product marketing function. Asad is also an angel investor and is deeply committed to supporting the growth of the Pakistani startup ecosystem.

Asad joined GoingVC to strengthen their brand and elevate the role of marketing in venture capital. He also hosts the GoingVC podcast, where he uncovers new paths into VC, explores alternative models, and inspires the next generation of venture capitalists.

Greco is a marketing and content strategist with experience across the venture, startup and accelerator ecosystem in LATAM. He has worked with global companies including Disney, ABinBev, Bimbo and Roche shaping brand strategy and insight-driven content for diverse audiences.

Before joining the venture world, he represented UNESCO as a youth ambassador and built a foundation in brand strategy and research.

Based in Mexico, Greco approaches every project with curiosity and creativity. Outside of work, he spends his time reading, playing padel and tennis, and exploring ideas that expand his perspective on technology, culture and markets.

Roann is a versatile professional with extensive leadership experience in finance, human resources, and data analysis. Throughout her career, she has mentored and coached CEOs, authors, and entrepreneurs, spearheading initiatives that effectively guide teams in achieving strategic objectives.

A graduate of her country’s top university, Roann finished at the top of her class and initially explored law and medicine before discovering her strengths in business. As an entrepreneur, she has launched and sold a business while collaborating with executives to further enhance her professional experience.

In her free time, Roann is dedicated to giving back, volunteering as a teacher for underprivileged children and supporting animal shelters and disaster relief efforts.
